Anxiety will never ever beat us. Stay strong.

After 2 years I finally quit a toxic job filled with drama. I knew I had to quit when I had an anxiety attack and people were gossiping about it rather than being empathetic. Now I am much happier and hope everyone out there will find a job that is supportive and a healthy environment to work in ❤️

I am overworked and under appreciated. I do the job of 3 and haven’t had a full weekend since the start of November. Working to find a new job!

Working from home with anxiety and depression. Some days are better than others. The difficulties are self-motivation and self-discipline. It sounds nice to wfh but it's not a walk in the park when focus is at an all time low.

I am the youngest at my job and I am so worried every time I come into work that I will make rookie mistakes and end up losing my job. It keeps me up at night.

I'm a substitute teacher right now & I'm doing courses at uni at the same time. I'm getting tired of feeling like crap every time I have to say no to a sub day, but I can't sub every day & be full time in uni. Every time I say no I figure they're mad at me or I've said no too many times & they won't call me anymore. Being a full time teacher will be more work, but at least I won't have to be on edge all the time about whether I'll get work that day or whether I'm too busy to work that day.

It’s so hard being the youngest at work it’s so intimidating. The work and company is nice but the people are so much older it’s so hard to relate and I feel so isolated and lonely all the time

I am so tired of dreading my job! The stress and anxiety used to start on Sunday but now it’s creeping into Saturday and even Friday nights. So tired of it, yet so scared of change!

Depression and anxiety wouldn’t let go. Have serious procrastination. I fear one day I’ll lose my ability to work.

Find it so intimidating at work in meetings I feel like everyone’s judging me or thinks I’m incompetent because I’m the youngest there. I’m scared to speak up in meetings. I have one tomorrow and I’m dreading it full of anxiety.

Even tho I felt (physically) like garbage, I'm proud of myself for making it through my shift and clocking out on time 😁

I just feel SO irritated to the point where I just want to cry. At work I am SO NICE to all of my coworkers. And some are just as sweet back. But others .. omg. It’s like they do 5 things to me that are rude or mean or they make a mistake that directly affects me and they get a cupcake on a golden platter from me. But when I do one little thing wrong I get sh*t thrown in my face at 100 MPH. I don’t understand the human race

I feel like I am continually trying to cope with imposter syndrome at work. I am beginning my third year in a new field that I knew would be challenging and I am getting stuck on thoughts that I should be more skilled by now. It's difficult to detach from these thoughts. I am trying to remember that I can only do so much in one day or else I will burn myself out. I wish that I may accept myself exactly as I am and remember that it is okay and healthy to make mistakes.

Does anyone struggle to find enjoyment and motivation, and the feeling of not wanting to go to work or even work again due to employer/work demands ? If so, please share your thoughts.

My boss is utterly incapable of basic listening skills. She talks over everyone, misunderstands everything, and then condescendingly chides everyone around her.

Took over something that was supposed to be split between 5 people. Stress is an understatement. Plus the girl who was teaching me how to do everything was all over the place. I am A type and cannot understand when things aren't orderly. I'm trying to take it one moment at a time.

My workmate is an absolute ass

I’m a teacher, newer to the school and community that I am working at, but today a parent became very hostile and rude about the fact that his daughter was asked to participate in a class project. She should be allowed to choose what she does and doesn’t do. School isn’t optional neither are projects. Why must parents be so rude. Worst thing is, the parent that was upset is also a teacher at another school....

I sometimes get sick of doing surgery back to back when i go on 24hr duty alone. In the mornings when i start at 8, its all ok, im hyped up. Then I realize im not the energizer bunny after all. Doing surgery, normal vaginal deliveries, admitting patients, er consults or paperworks at 4 in the morning. But when my tour of duty is up the following day, i look back on the past 24hrs and there is that sense of fullfillment despite being dead tired.A lot of close calls with hallelujah moments.

I went to a phyciatrist hospital for two weeks and now I feel like my boss is making me work on meaningless tasks from 2014! To make up for the two weeks. And is making the whole company stay open an extra two weeks. Is it wrong to think he's doing this to get back those 2 weeks? I'm exhausted and can't imagine another 2 and a half weeks of work with only a 2 week break 😥

Been waiting several months for a rasie... long story short I’m not getting one and it completely crushed me. I work sooo freakin hard. So now I’m looking for a new job and nervous about these interviews and the process. Wish me luck!

How do you stay motivated and confident when doing job applications as a graduate? 😓 I especially stress about how I should write the cover letter, and think I don't fit anything even though I have good degrees and other (I think small) experiences.. Scared I don't fit in in the "real world".
