Thinking about quitting after Christmas I’m just always unhappy and miserable.

I see a lot of people on here talking about how their coworkers do not like them or are causing problems. I feel the same way and hate that my performance can be ruined by some jerks. Remember that this happens to almost every person at work and that you will not be working with those people forever, whether that means they quit or you moving on to greater things.

My biggest problem at work is I dont feel respected or appreciated or like I am apart of the team. I'm always trying to help but nobody listens to me. I ask if I need to make any changes within myself and my bosses won't communicate with me. My bosses also dont speak to me unless I speak to them. They are very stand of fish of me and all of this has happened all of a sudden. It wasnt always like this. I tried to talk to them but no changes do I have just given up at work.

I'm thinking about being so sensitive and frustrated sometimes. I find it hard to be of think rational, because I just can't think properly when I'm stressed. I'm getting very emotional by talking about my problems at work.

I spend the entire weekend just dreading having to go back to work monday. It's not fair that I do this to myself because I don't even get to enjoy my days off. I need to learn how to stop.

I love my job, but my over stressed, abused and worked brain does not like to work to a clock. It can be so, so, so hard sometimes. Especially because I have to have to work with people, even if I feel I'm about to cry. It has nothing to do with the job! It's perdect. It is my mind that s f'd.

It's been so hard for me to focus and care about work recently. I can't tell if it's just my depression or if I'm actually unhappy in my job ☹️

I just started working at barnes and noble and I’m so stressed about the register. It’s so complicated for me because this is my first job so I have no experience. I’m afraid of embarrassing myself in front of a customer because I don’t know what I’m doing.

I’m a med student currently applying for residency. I have been working for the last 3 months in three different hospitals. I have been working long hours almost 80 hours a week. I’m physically and emotionally exhausted. This is my last month in a hospital until I take a break and I don’t like the hospital I’m in. It’s very difficult to wake up in the morning and come to a place I don’t like. I feel like I’m not doing things I like when I get home because I’m so tired.

I have become some unhappy and miserable with my job that I’ve started to do the bare minimum. I am trying to stay inspired and motivated but I’m just so fed up. I am just praying God enters my heart and mind so I can perform my job as I should.

Anyone else have anxiety issues at work? I started a new job a few months ago and my manager said it’s affecting my performance. My job is way more than what the job description said and what they discussed in the job interview. I’ve been trying to get counseling referrals through my insurance and the past two are booked solid for at least eight weeks.

This week I have my first day of work ever. It's a basic job at a supermarket, but it still makes me incredibly anxious since it is somthing new. My anxiety goes completely insane when I do new things and I have felt anxious the last three days, while I haven't even started working. My main issue is the feeling that I can't leave, without permission, which makes me feel very trapped. I'm scared it'll cause me to have a major panic attack.

After 4 months of living in a new city without a job, I finally was asked to interview and got 2 offers in the same week! It was a daily struggle to stay positive. But the breakthroughs will happen eventually!

I work in a place where we help people to get better, but is sad that those people that you work with are just on the run to the managers office to complain about others, what they say, how they act or if they answer in a bad way. Like children running to their mother for help, but when I say something about someone else I’m the bad person@%#@.

Any nurse/healthcare people out there experiencing burn out that’s making their attitude about their job/performance worse? I’m beating myself up over this and I wondered if anyone can relate? I feel so alone working with a bunch of chipper/happy people.

I'm so glad I don't work on my old manager's team anymore at my organization. She was not emotionally equipped to be a manager and would constantly talk shit about other teammates if you were her monthly best work-friend. Now that I left I found out that she disliked me for a while and was fake to me just like she was to everyone on the team. What is more embarrassing is how I though she was my friend and wouldn't do the same to me. You should NOT be friends with your supervisor.

I never work before and I have job interviews with the same company for almost three weeks. This week they should call and say if I got the job. I AM SO NERVOUS. Either ways I have fears. If I got the job it will be a new situation which make me nervous. If not, I will be upset. I hope they call me and give me the job still.

Get a lot of rude customers but it’s expected working in retail 😀

I have a new job and have been working there for 1 month but I think my colleagues don’t like me. I’m inexperienced as I came straight out of college and everyone’s been working for 2+ years. I suffer from anxiety especially social anxiety so it’s hard for me to open up and be sociable so I think that they assume I’m bored or not interested. I did something slightly wrong in my work and I think they’re all annoyed. I hate this feeling I dread seeing my boss as she’s very hostile towards me

i put a two week resignation in out of respect for my coworkers because theyre decent people but the general manager keeps trying to talk to me about it while im working. she doesnt want to lose me as a worker and i appreciate that she values me but mcdonalds is hard enough without trying to talk to your GM about why you not getting hours is a problem

First thing my boss said to me at the beginning of my shift was "how many meds have you taken?" Right in front of a coworker and it really bothers me. 1) just rude 2) i told him about my anxiety and treatment in confidentiality 3) my medications are between my drs and i 4) it implies that i'm abusing my meds, which i'm not because i respect them and their capabilities. I want to confront him about it but idk how. Also, he's one of those who doesnt "believe" mental illness is a real thing.

today I can‘t be open and too friendly to everyone. I just manage to say the minimum and that‘s it, and it‘s fine. I just feel very shit about it.
