I wanted to call in sick yesterday but decided to push myself to go to work. Then I was expected to do a double shift. I told my manager I couldn't do it because I wasn't well. I got no support, and I had a meltdown. I wish other people didn't have to witness that.

So stressed and stretched thin. Underpaid. Headache 24/7. Not even feeling fulfilled anymore now. But not sure what I want to do next so don't want to just leave for a random job. Feel so stuck.

So, I didn't eat breakfast, I didn't back a lunch, I forgot it was casual Friday, and I'll most likely be working in the skilled nursing section (housekeeping) again, alone. Yep, F my day.

One of those days where I just want to scream because I've done everything I can to make myself feel better and it's all been thrown back in my face. I'm a cleaner for an office full of big headed people, they decided today was the day to tell me what to do when they have absolutely nothing to do with me, it was so rude that when they left I cried and I'm now glad the day is over and will be letting my boss know how I felt about how to acted towards me, right, rant over

I feel like I'm just waiting out the days until I switch to my new job. That demotivation to attend my current job, plus being nervous about my new one is becoming slightly overwhelming and tiresome.

I was fired a few months ago and it has been a journey for about 4 months recovering from a toxic work environment...I used to feel trapped and miserable and now I am starting to see the light again! Thank you Jesus! Amen

I got rejected for two more jobs I really wanted this week. I feel I should just take a break and focus on my painting for a while... But I know not looking will stress me out and make me feel guilty.

So, I work in a retirement community as a housekeeper. Today, I worked in the skilled nursing area where elderly need to be nursed and monitored (which I hate working there in the first place). I missed breakfast so I was extremely hungry. Then, I got sick. Turns out, I started my period. The pain and sickness was so bad, I was crying and constantly going to the bathroom. I nearly didn't finish my run for the day! I was so annoyed and tired when I got home.

My manager is driving my team crazy. And I am afraid he will drive everyone away. I started not too long ago, so I'm worried about speaking up. My manager's manager doesn't seem to see the team's stress as a result of our new manager though. So, we have no where to turn. I feel hopeless. I love the content of my job and I don't want to leave, but my manager is just driving me crazy.
