The feeling on a Sunday when you realise you have to go back to work tomorrow 😞 and the only reason you keep going is because you need the money to enjoy life.

I always have nightmares about work. I never feel good enough. So I feel like they will fire me or something. I hate it. It makes me resent working.

Work stress combined with my anxiety have caused me to be increasingly doubtful in my strengths and abilities. After 13 years in my industry you'd think it impossible. Thanks anxiety.

As an extremely introverted person, everyone at work thinks I'm weird, I never talk or when I do it comes out funny because I'm so not used to social situations. This makes me so depressed because everyone else is good friends with each other but they just ignore me. No one likes me.

I finally applied for a promotion. I was very anxious about it because it's a lot of new, extra responsibilities. It's not that much more money either. The reason I want it though is because I want to challenge myself. I want to show myself that everything will be ok. I want to succeed, especially in a hard situation. I want to prove to myself that I am able and competent. That I can and that I will. I am nervous of course. Last time I tried, I had constant anxiety. This time will be different.

I have never worked at a job where I feel so isolated. I moved to a small community and everyone is so uncaring. When I asked for help, I was informed it's not in their job description to help.

What do you do when you just feel overwhelmed by everything? And every little task seems like it too much to handle and your scared you might make a mistake or that you already made a mistake that might bite you later... i cant take it anymore

Been working 6 day weeks for months. Really exhausted. Finally hired someone so now I have to train her so I can take a weekend off. A light at the end of the tunnel.

I keep thinking that I should take extra shifts to earn more money but in reality I need the time off to get in a better head space. I've never been so depressed in my life and I'm exhausted.

Does anyone have any tips for coping with a toxic employer? I'm introverted (INFJ) and a HSP. My boss is condescending, patronising, belittling, he throws tantrums and dumps all his stress on our shoulders, just an all round sociopath I've been dealing with for nearly three years. I've gone past the point of desperation and just want to escape but I don't see that happening until I get career in the arts going. Currently experiencing some awful depression, I'm usually prone to anxiety.

Does anybody else work evening shift and feel like it is making their life miserable? I wake up and already dread going to work (I am a new nurse) to the point where I can't get out of bed and I oversleep. I try to keep my mind off work by going to the gym, running errands, etc. but I rarely have time to finish everything, which adds stress. I get out of work, often not until 1 am, go to bed, and repeat. I have no life because of work and I am so lonely. Staying positive the best I can.

being understaffed at work and not feeling like I have the support of management really sucks. I know they cant do anything staffing wise but atleast being there for us would be nice.
