When you get so stressed at work that you go in the bathroom and read posts on Pacifica for 15 minutes. Actually helped me a lot πŸ˜€

Does anyone else ever feel underappreciated at work? If so, how do you deal with these feelings? I would like to be able to talk to my boss about this, but thinking about having this discussion makes me feel anxious and vulnerable.

I sent so many resumΓ©s to so many work places of different kinds, and either I didn't get a call for an interview or I didn't pass it... It's tiring since I think that I can no longer try to find jobs in similar places where I was rejected

At work, we have a 2.5 foot creepy santa πŸŽ… stuffed creation. We cope we holiday stress by moving him to random places around the office when no one's looking. Nice and funny way to destress and laugh when he's spotted, πŸ˜‚

Never take anything personally, nothing is ever done because of you.

I love my mornings on the weekend. I wake up with such energy and enthusiasm. But my mornings during the work week are horrible. This is probably the time when I feel most anxious. The thought of the day makes me want to break down and hide.

Working in human services is a thankless job. I love helping others but the pay, culture, and bad attitudes sometimes make me question my path..

answered a call at work today from someone & could hardly understand a word they were saying - come to realize it was my company's president! :( felt so ridiculous.

My boss blames me for things that aren't my fault, and it's really triggering my anxiety. I wish I knew how to tell him - without being confrontational - that he's the one making careless mistakes, not me.

Just dropping by to comment that even though my job is more stressful than ever, at least my new manager has made the environment easier to work in.

If you aren't passionate about what you do, don't do it.

I recently returned to work following a period of sickness. My colleagues were full of how tired and busy they had been. I felt guilty and this impacted on my anxiety. Talk of the future frightens me and I find I panic at the thought of it. I struggle on a daily basis with anxiety over small events and thoughts of the future.

I already hate myself and think I'm worthless I don't need a co worker to point it out in front of a costumer. I know I shouldn't hate people.... but I'm really starting to detest her. I'm done trying to talk to her. I'm so angry that people just treat me like this and I'm not strong enough to stand up for myself. I think I need to take some classes on it because I'm a push over.

Trying to deal with an angry colleague. I tend to veer toward angry too, so that doesn't help. Trying to communicate that you're trying when getting shouted at in the back office is - not fun? Or easy.

I have anxiety and borderline personality disorder, and I work at an animal hospital. There's so much emotion there all day long. It's so hard to deal with, but I love what I do. Does anyone else have a stressful work environment, but love it anyway?

I hate my job. It goes by so slow and it's miserable sitting there waiting for angry customers to call in and yell at me. It's so hard for me to go to work and get through a shift without putting alcohol in my coffee in the morning and taking a pill cocktail when I get to work.

I feel like every time I do something wrong my managers are just waiting to fire me. I know I've been at my job a year now and I was promoted but these days I seem to be messing up more due to my lack of sleep and massive anxiety. I feel like they will just say that I've made too many mistakes and it's not okay. I can't handle being demoted or fired.
