Stress at Work

That feeling of anxiety that you've done something wrong in work and you're at home just panicking and worrying and non stop thinking about it

It's hard to work for someone who makes you feel worthless and incompetent.

I dont work anymore because of my anxiety/depression. I can't make it through a few hours of work without freaking out. And now that the holidays are over my depression is front and center again. I'm going crazy just sitting around the house but I can't find the motivation to do things I want to. Any advice?

I work with a lot of negative nancies which doesn't help my anxiety and depression

I'm scared to ask for help, scared to be wrong, and scared of seeming incompetent. At the same time, anxiety at work must be hidden, making it all even harder.

7 months into my first job, and I still screw up a lot. But it's happened so much that I have learned to live with mistakes easier! Always looking on the bright side.

I'm a substitute teacher. The kids act up a lot when there are subs so it can be difficult, but I know they're being kids. I try to never raise my voice and instead I ask them if I can help them with their assignment or I try to distract them by asking about their days. I miss my own kids when I'm working but my husband hurt his back and can't work anymore so it's good I have a job.

I live only from Friday to Saturday and start getting down into depression from Sunday (when I can't further ignore thoughts of a new work week), completely drown on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Im just surviving most part of the week and can't even notice how weeks leak through my fingers. it's very exhausting, it means that life passes behind me.

I need to remember that any mistake I make in work can be rectified. Need to stop worrying and panicking. Mistake are part of learning

I was dreading going in to work today, sat in my car for as long as possible before heading in - everything's been okay though, nothing bad has happened. It's not always as bad as it seems x

I feel like the company I work for doesn't care about their employees at all. It's all about the customers and the business. I honestly believe that if you take care of your employees then they will take care of your customers. It's hard to work where you're not appreciated or taken care of.

I work a crappy retain job. Sometimes it's fine. Today it isn't. I'm trying not to break down, but judging by how I feel, that might prove difficult.

I don't like heights and sometimes I work on the 4th floor. Deep breaths! Lol

I'm only a substitute teacher (mostly special ed instructional assistant) and I've been trying to get a permanent position but I keep getting passed up for people who went to college (even though the job requirements state highest education is hs). I can't go to college because I have no money because I work four part time jobs just to make ends meet. I'm getting really discouraged.

I'm starting a new job tomorrow. Totally freaked out that I'll feel awkward or won't know how to do things. The unknown bothers me (what are people like, what's my day to day etc). Wish I could just be normal and feel excited as it's a job I've really wanted.

I work in a call center. Most of our members are great, however there is always the possibility of getting one of the frustrated ones. That anticipation + the business of the start of the year = my anxiety in high gear. It's been well managed until 1/2 way through the 1st week of January. I feel like there's an elephant sitting on my chest & that my skin is too tight. Got yelled at today by my 1st caller over something that she caused. Set me on edge for the day.

Sometimes I really am not motivated to go to work and deal with rude customers in my ear for 8 hours
