“I was going to court one morning and the rain was coming down hard. I was wearing flats and completely nervous as I pulled in. As I was walking, my feet were cold and wet. I was beginning to complain and feel frustrated but then I stopped. I turned the situation into a moment of cleansing. I used the water to cleanse my feet and body of all anxiety and fear. I used the cold to remind myself of the present moment and to focus on what I was to do. Before I knew it, I didn’t feel the cold anymore.”
