“I try to stay in the present, not let my mind drift to the past or drift to the future. When my mind wanders to, for e.g., "Today I need to call X" or "Tomorrow I need to do errand X"
I try to gently pull my brain back to the present & not chastise myself.
I imagine my mind like a balloon: it can drift very easily. When it does,
I need only gently pull on the string to either bring it back from behind me (the past) or back from ahead of me (the future). Creative visualization works for me.”
