“Mindfulness is a relatively new concept for me, and I am amazed at how much impact it has had on my sense of wellbeing. I like to see how many layers of sound I can hear, because I have to be the most still for this. Beyond the cars and birds, I can hear wind, distant traffic, even electricity. Then I name as many things as I can feel. And I think about my breathing.”
