“My self-esteem is a work in progress. One thing I've noticed about myself is I can freely give out compliments to other people but when it comes to myself, I stop. So when I have those really crappy days for instance when I don't look half decent, after I've crying my eyes out etc, I look in the mirror and throw myself a compliment. It could be "Damn. You like REAL pretty today" or "OH MY GOD. You're so beautiful". In those few utterances, my spirit rises up again.”
