“I have a particular time of evening where I make a cup of black tea with milk. Once I get to that stage of the evening, I already know I've made it through the whole day, and now I might as well keep living. It's a weird act that keeps me mindful of my surroundings and gives me something to look forward to. It's like I'm thanking myself for being so brave, and the milky tea is my reward.”
