I see so many posts of people who are stressed because they keep comparing themselves to others. Hey there guys. I am one of you. I never even paid much attention to this problem of mine until today. It is so encouraging to see that you are trying to overcome it. Today's my first day! I am going to keep reminding myself.

I went to church for the first time in probably a year or two. I had to go alone on account of my parents (my dad) being...less than caring, but it felt good. I feel a lot better now. It really was a positive experience

I LOVE earthing. I’d go anywhere barefoot if I could and feel the ground beneath my feet, hear the sounds around me, notice scents I’d normally shrug off, and see things more in detail. It’s so relaxing and helps me truly focus on the present moment

I've decided to unfollow and unfriend anyone that I feel posts negative things all the time. I know social media is to express yourself, but shit I can only take so much! I've also decided to sort through my Spotify playlists and move all of the more depressing and downer music to a playlist so it doesn't continually pop up.

Honestly having plants, especially succulents, helps me. I see them and it’s like “they survive all kinds of weather and still bloom beautifully, each in their own way..... that’s what we’re meant to do too. You can grow through tough times too.”

As a woman I just shaved my head a few days ago and it made me realize all the time in our lives we spend on our hair and worry how it looks and also hair being like a security blanket and shaving it off gave more confidence to be who I am.

Whenever something unfortunate happens I think to myself, “when something bad happens something good is ought to happen in return, it’s all about balance.” And you might think, well what about the other way around, when something good happens? Well, then you prepare your mind and body for it and know you are in a good place, strong and able, and are capable of overcoming whatever it is.

I stay mindful each day bu reminding myself to take a step back and analyze the entire situation instead of letting my initial reactions take over. This has helped me cool down and calm my anxiety :)

I got a tattoo that says Despite everything it's still you. I am planning to use it to help me and reminding myself I've been through a lot but I'm still me.

I focus myself into situations which made me feel bad about my self. then I try to relive those moments in my head, the way I wanted them to be happened, they way it would be best for me. This gives me perspective and closure.

This week I'm returning to the local Dharma center for their awesome meditation groups. I haven't been in months and I've missed it. We do walking meditations and mindfulness sitting. I'm even brining a friend this week.

Meeting new people don't judge others like you feel you get judge if you start giving others a chance maybe you might feel like you belong in a group where you don't have to be afraid of being yourself and just take the time for yourself and others helping others can give you confidence
