I stay in the present moment by taking the time out periodically to feel my breath. I spend a moment listening to myself and feeling and watching my surroundings. I remind myself there is no danger. Things are going well at this moment. I accept myself in that moment. I write down facts so I can see what is going on around me from a different perspective especially if it’s a bad moment

When overwhelmed by the exterior (like in a school) just leave the place, go to a bathroom or somewhere you feel safe. Let yourself cry if you want to, NEVER hold your pain. That helped me a lot on dark times

I tell myself all the time that I need to stop comparing myself to other people. Looks wise, success wise.. all of it. Because at the end of the day I’m unique and special in my own way and I have to embrace that. People love me for me.

I try to make mindfulness part of everything. I concentrate on sounds, feelings and just about everything I can. It is not easy and takes effort, like everything else in life does. The more I try, the longer I can stay in the moment. I want it to become natural, with no effort.

I write everything in the Sanvello journal: my WHOLE day, feelings, personal stuff, goals, gratitude, everything. It helps me be aware and control of my whole self. Understanding one's self is key to a good life ❤😊

I try to treat every moment like my Mom is in the room. I never wanted my Mom to worry about me or think less of me so I just try everyday to be better than yesterday. I also think about my kid when I am really trying. He definitely does not want his Mom stressed out or letting people or situations stealing Mommy’s joy. I want to be like him when I grow up, for real. Kids really shake stuff off so easily.

At the beginning I could not believe that I would have had a panic attack unless it would be a long process to meditate and identify what made me like this, with the days and managed to accept me little by little and see that light at the end of the tunnel the hope of That one day I managed to find the cornerstone of my emotions and manage it properly with my family, friends, and health professionals who continue to give me some anxiety but are there to guide me in this detective search

I woke up this morning feeling a little anxious about my future and where I am today. But I’m realizing it’s not bad at all; I’m still getting those nasty narratives out of my head. Meditation really helps and even my rabbit joins me when I do it!
