I don’t read often, but I just started reading, “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck”. It’s such a good read, and with each chapter I find myself understanding my feelings and self a bit more. :-)

What helps me the most is remembering that recovery happens at its own pace. 💛🌻 We don’t get to will ourselves into determining how quickly we come to terms with something. 💖

I have trouble expressing things and using words, so I find drawing super helpful. That way things don’t get so bottled up.

Make sure I get some nature in, whether that be run, walk or bike by the waterfront and just take some time for myself.

I went for an enjoyable walk in the rain... during the walk I wasn’t just mindful of what I was doing for my body but mindful of the environment around me and if we take the time you can really notice sights and sounds that can pass us by without knowing.

I try to meditate at least 5-10 mins a day by myself in a closed secluded area in the house. It helps me to stay calm & mindful with what’s going on around me...

Reminders to be at peace with the mind. Being kind, gentle, breathe and let go of thoughts, like passing clouds. The breath is the vehicle.

Reminding myself that the metrics we use to measure value in this day and age (likes, shares, views) are incorrect and impure. Remembering that every breathe counts, not every “like” you obtain.
