I developed a daily practice called “21 Daily.” At the end of the day, I take 21min and split it into 3 sections—5min/11min/5min—making sure to be away from all distractions, including my phone. First section, I ground myself by becoming aware of all my senses. Second section, I lay my head down and close my eyes, not doing anything. Last section, I journal about the experience—emotions, thoughts, etc. Feel free to adopt this and change parts of it in order to fit YOUR needs 😌👌🏼

I try not to have too many distractions causing sensory overload. Focusing on my senses is easier when there isn’t too many things going on at once.

I think journaling every night really helps me be mindful. I’m not always the best about doing it but I notice a difference when I do.

I love lists. I write out lists and then ponder life and prioritize what is important to do for the day. I like to write down or think of the pluses and negatives regarding the issues I am dealing with and actions to take. It helps me in my decision making process.

I’m not old but I’m tired, a lot of us are tired. We shouldn’t be doing things all the time! We need rest, we need to sit and respond. This is of the great importance. Sometimes we need to exert energy, you don’t want it to build and get stuck, you want to run and play. Stay with what we know, our bodies, our earth, the mind is fun..play in it, spin in it, but don’t try and “use” it unless it’s life or death.

My job is outside on a farm and I picked it specifically because it’s what I love and it’s grounding. Spending time outside reawakens all my senses. If you’re feeling disconnected, some really flavourful and healthy food or tea can also help

I stress over so many things, and I get depressed Bc of a minor set back. I try to remember that these things going on in my life are temporary and everything is small that I worry about.

I've noticed my eating habits haven't been the best; I've had a poor diet mostly filled with junk food. I have a terrible sweet tooth/sugar addiction and I haven't had the best self control in a while. Today, I'm starting my journey of minimal to no sweets. It'll be a rough journey but I know it will make me so much happier in the long run :)
