I stay mindful by realizing that it could be a whole lot worse. Appreciating the present moment helps make problems not seem so overwhelming. There’s always someone else suffering a lot more. Not to say that’s a good thing but I’m grateful and that helps me stay mindful.

I love the sky, and clouds, and sunsets. Lately I’ve been taking a picture every time I see a beautiful sky. They’re not always even good pictures, but it makes me appreciate the present and it’s something to look back on when maybe the skies are darker another day.

I have an entire tumblr blog that has saved comfort, motivational and such audios made by other people. I also have some written posts or gifs including a breathing's clock to help settle breathing. I always hope that when I need it I'll remember that it's there. Settle down, close my eyes and imagine everything I'm hearing is actually happening in real life.
