This might sound weird but sometimes I try to think of my thoughts as a radio station. So I tune in and listen and if I find I’m stuck on the anxiety channel then I think about turning the dial to see what else is available. Is very helpful sometimes.

Growing comfortable with silence and stillness. I got really great at it, but then regressed with increased phone usage. It takes time to adjust to letting yourself pause and “do nothing”.

I sometimes use the 3 circles of dialectal behavior therapy: circle on either side = emotion, logic, circle in the middle = mindfulness.
