One of my go to tricks for staying mindful is when I eat. Everything in our lives is so fast paced and so I make sure that weather a full meal or a snack I take my time eating. I make sure to take reasonable sized bites instead of consuming something in a minute or two. I chew each bite of food at least 7-10 times before taking another bite. This helps in so many ways. You enjoy your food more and can appreciate what you have taken the time to make.

When ever bad memories tries to hurt me again I do push-ups. It’s kind of trying to make the body too tired to think. It’s not really that effective but I do it. It’s an effort.

Conflict used to be “survival” now it’s everything. We desperately need to know that humans create conflict. There’s enough for everyone here. Be a good person!

I scan whole my body and adjust my posture multiple times a day. I've gained tremendous body awareness and reduced my daily pain levels by practicing frequent posture checks for the past year. I think everyone could benefit from this simple practice, especially people who are into fitness and sport. Healthy form is everything!

I’m going to make today into a good day. And it’s going to stay as a good day. I’m still going to be compassionate and aware of how others are feeling, but I’m not going to let them bring me down. I am a good person and I am getting better every day and today IS a good day.

I enjoy making things looking beautiful, I find it grounding. I also love creating a learning and loving environment for my little one. I forget all when I’m focused on him.

whenever i feel overwhelmed or extremely anxious, i write down how i feel like scribble it down on a few sheets of paper. i don’t even have to be able to read what i wrote or be grammatically correct it just helps because i usually don’t like telling people how i feel or what’s happening so i scribble everything down. it helps me a lot

I listen to gospel songs every single night. I found peace in Jesus name. Watch and listen this powerful worship <a href="https://youtu.be/0nytGdYuRgg" class="https://youtu.be/0nytGdYuRgg" onClick="event.stopPropagation(); event.preventDefault(); window.open(event.target.href, '_blank', 'location=no');">https://youtu.be/0nytGdYuRgg<

No matter the circumstances or the situation you are capable of choosing calm, positivity, or just embracing being okay, in doing so you will make your mind more resilient. Actively pursue calm my friends and always try to care for yourself. 😊 Remember its okay to feel broken and down, just remember in those broken moments you can put the pieces back together and someone out there is always willing to help when you need it.

Setting goals no matter how small they are has definitely helped me go through alot. Like setting a goal of "Find one good thing about today" it's just a simple goal, but when I did it I felt like I was worth it
