Is anyone super hard on themselves? Like way harder than they would ever be to any other person? I’m gonna try to give myself the common curtesy I do to others <3

I’m going to start learning how to stand up for myself and not say “yes” to everything. It’ll be better for me to have a backbone.

Practicing mindfulness each day is a challenge for me. I'm learning how to spend less time sitting around thinking and spend more time doing things that are growing me.

I am blessed with so many people who love me for who I am. Who support me and want to see me thrive. I will not waste my time, my energy, my sanity, fighting for the love and attention of people who can’t even show me common human decency. I deserve better than that.

I'm not super great at meditation, but, when I keep at it, I sure do make progress!

I think about celebrities and well known people at school and stuff. When I do something stupid or fail at something, I automatically think that it’s the end of the world. But soo many people in this world go through the same stuff. It’s normal. So what do they do? They pick themselves right back up and aim to be better than they were yesterday.

What is meant for you, will reach you even if it’s beneath a mountain. What isn’t meant for you, will never reach you.

I remind myself, that I'm not dead. Maybe sometimes I don't feel like myself, but it could have been much worse..

I wake up and have positive thoughts that it is a new day. If all goes well during the day that’s good if not I can go to bed knowing tomorrow is a new day

I have major depression and can’t seem to escape the black hole. I just came out of hospital and back on medication. Everything’s a struggle especially in the mornings and I feel so very weak 😢

A least 5 minutes of complete silence, simply sitting on a chair and focusing on my senses, everyday.

At the end of each day I would like to write 20 things I am grateful for today. Big or small, I want to think about the gratitude and embrace the feeling of it.

Life is not difficult, you aren't doing it right. Change is challenging yourself to be better. It is going to be difficult, but worth it.

I did a mindfulness course once. It was so boring and stressful and the guy was so monotone. Please tell me the rest of mindfulness ain't like this

I know to take things one step at a time.. thinking about all I need to do in a day at once is very stressful and bothers me more than anything. I know that I can get everything done at my pace and that’s okay.
