When I get anxious and remember to do this it really helps. Engage your five senses. I look at a couple of things I like wherever I am. I notice good smells or sounds. I think of eating my favorite food. And I think about a warm and cozy place. Maybe that seems crazy but it sure as heck takes you mentally away from an anxiety episode.

Body scanning is one of my favorite mindfulness techniques. Be aware of the sensations in your body, and breathe through them.

I got a free timer app and set it to vibrate every hour. Even if I’m busy it reminds me to look at what I’m doing from a better perspective

Reminding myself, I can do it but I’ve gotta try and work hard. If I never take a step forward I’ll always be in the same place.

If I can’t find the motivation to make myself feel good and/or happy, I try to make others around me happy instead. Pretty much I like helping others when I can’t help myself

I recently started writing my feelings in a diary. It feels a lot lighter after writing them out. I try to meditate and listen to happy music and try to read about things I love like travel, food and lifestyle.I am working on my anger and stress issues and feeling lonely issues.

Mood tracking and journaling. I try to check in with my head a few times a day, just to notice how I'm feeling without judging myself. Then I usually check in with my body and physical sensations too, to really ground myself in the moment.

Remember you're not the only person who gets down. Put yourself in others shoes. Don't ever judge. Be kind, always.
