When I get anxious and remember to do this it really helps. Engage your five senses. I look at a couple of things I like wherever I am. I notice good smells or sounds. I think of eating my favorite food. And I think about a warm and cozy place. Maybe that seems crazy but it sure as heck takes you mentally away from an anxiety episode.

If I can’t find the motivation to make myself feel good and/or happy, I try to make others around me happy instead. Pretty much I like helping others when I can’t help myself

I recently started writing my feelings in a diary. It feels a lot lighter after writing them out. I try to meditate and listen to happy music and try to read about things I love like travel, food and lifestyle.I am working on my anger and stress issues and feeling lonely issues.

Mood tracking and journaling. I try to check in with my head a few times a day, just to notice how I'm feeling without judging myself. Then I usually check in with my body and physical sensations too, to really ground myself in the moment.
