Sometimes it's okay to say "no." You don't always have to be a people-pleaser

The pain and feeling is only temporary. Right this moment isn’t an indication of how the rest of your life will be

I remind myself to look at the clouds while I’m driving in to work. Appreciating how different they look each day helps me focus on the present and keeps my mind from obsessing about the day.

I try to meditate before bed each night even when I feel too busy to. It can help dramatically without you even feeling like you put so much effort into it

I had plans to meet friends today but I was in the worst mood. I felt like I couldn’t be around people or I would just break down crying. I was going to cancel but my friends pushed me to go out and so I did and it really helped me become happier and put me in such a good mood. I really think we need to push ourselves more and do things we don’t want to do because they may end in being one of the best things you’ve ever done and make you feel better.

Anxiety has always been a big struggle in my life. I am still in school, work, and currently doing some volunteer work. The stuff that I need to do just piles up. But I realized, over the years that I am just one person. I can't do everything and that is okay. Being able to admit that I can't do everything has helped me tremendously. I need to take the experiences and challenges of life day by day. It took me years to think like this but it has helped.

I usually don’t practice mindfulness but when I walk in the trail, I do become more relaxed and focused. Any kind of physical activity calms me down but walking in nature really helps me decompress and energize myself.

Just completely the eating mindfully meditation. My anxiety was through the roof before it. (Not sure why it seemed scary). It was actually quite enjoyable and I will definitely do it over and over again to help bring some of the practice into my life.
