I have to remind myself daily that its ok to not be ok. Just breathe and keep putting one foot in front of the other. That no matter what is going on I'm a good person and I can get through this and handle my emotions in a productive and healthy way.

I use this app as a diary. I "check in" every time I notice myself having strong feelings and write about it. When I'm having a bad day, I have a nostalgic account of all the times I felt happy. And when I get anxious that nothing ever changes, I have a reminder of how depressed I used to be and how much I've grown since then. I'm starting to become much more observant in noticing moments of happiness ⚘

Reminding myself that no matter the flaws I try to come up with for myself - I deserve to exist. Even if my grades are abysmal, I feel like people hate me, or that I’m a failure - I deserve to exist and nothing that happens can change that fact. I deserve to exist, to be happy, and to keep living.

When I'm feeling stressed or anxious I either go to the gym and work it off or I'll go and walk the dogs at the shelter that I volunteer at, I feel so relaxed when I do and it lifts me up
