In the morning when my alarm goes off instead of pressing snooze, I spend 5-10 minutes doing a mindfulness exercise. I'm finding it a much better way to start the day, and it is time I would have wasted anyway.

Well I keep a journal of positivity that I can read whenever I’m down, and I just meditate every night before I go to sleep.

Setting goals and intentions during my morning meditations has really helped me focus a little. My goals tend to shift a lot but it at least gives me a direction to follow for that day and helps me feel inspired.

Self talk has been working very well! I remind myself daily that I’m in control of my mind and allow negative thoughts to flow, but not stopping them and dwelling.

I try to stay in the present. I try to observe people without judging. I try to accept people and situations as they are. Most of all, but this is the trickiest, I try not to have expectations. I can only control the way I react

Going for a walk during my breaks at work usually help kind of center me and focus me, especially if I make the effort to really observe what I'm passing by. I have a creative job, too, and the movement tends to help me if I'm stuck for ideas.

I stay mindful by reading the Lord's word. For the things I'm going through, speaking specific scriptures about healing, protection comfort, and peace. Because the Lord gives me understanding.

Two things I’m starting to add into my daily routine in order to get a little more positivity in my life: 1. At the end of each day, listing three things that went right and 2. Telling others why I appreciate them (this one is fun because it’s a big surprise to people and has the potential to make their day)

Everytime the baby kicks in my belly it makes me take a big breath and check in on myself. When she's out I'm going to miss that prod when she's out! I wonder how I will remember to be mindfull with a newborn?

You did not choose to exist in the first place, you were thrust into this world with no choice. So maintain that compassion for yourself, and know that nobody else chose their lives either, and maintain that empathy for others, even if they hurt you. Bearing these thoughts in mind will take you along way.
