As soon as I open my eyes in the morning, I think of several things I’m grateful for. It brings me into the moment and helps me start the day on a positive note. Since I’ve started this my relationships have changed for the better (including the one with myself) and my mindfulness has gone to a new level. Highly recommend 11/10 😊

Grounding 2 types 1) Senses 5 things you see 4 things you feel 3 things you hear 2 things you smell 1 thing you taste 2) Catergories Pick something in the room let’s say pictures on wall and count how many there are on the wall in the room. Or pick a color and name everything in the room with that color.

write down my thoughts as soon as i get anxious, and then immediately let them go. helps me keep a clearer and more positive head

Until recently, I would check Facebook or look at the news or do other things during my lunch that actually added to my overall level of agitation. Today, I’m doing this instead. It feels really nice.

I do the little things to help clear my mind. I tidy up, I decorate, and I rearrange. Coupled with deep, calm breathing and a positive thought or song, it grounds me in the moment.

I focus on the awareness of my body of my breathing of nothing else but what's going on in front of me and I have limited my time on social media by taking it off my phone so it's only on my desktop.
