Daily 2018 practice: Once I get home after work I light a candle on my meditation altar. I also light some beautiful lanterns and my Himalaya salt lamp. And I sit and I meditate in silence for just 5 minutes. I don’t close my eyes. I use the lights to focus my attention. This practice is keeping me grounded specially when I want to revisit past memories that can’t be redone

i remember that even if i fail, breakdown, have the worst day of my entire life, that it only lasts 24 hours, and i can start anew any day. that i can handle anything in the moment, and it’s just the fear of what might happen that undoes me.

Today I focused on catching myself when I was starting to get lost in my thoughts. As soon as I noticed this, I reminded myself to concentrate on what I was doing in the moment.

I started praying each morning. I'm not religious but I say what I'm grateful for and what I hope to achieve and by doing so I give myself extra reason to be positive and look forward to the future. It helps!

When I wake up wanting to just stay home and cry or not do anything with my day I tell myself I can always do that tomorrow I just have to get through today. I tell myself this everyday so there’s never i day I jut stay home and give up
