I started using aromatherapy. I put a scented oils I like around the house and at my desk at work. When I notice the smell it helps take me out of my head into the present.

When I get up each morning, I stretch and mediate for about 5 minutes. It’s a nice transition into reality and is grounding. Even though I don’t feel like doing it every morning, I make a point to. (I have really realistic, intense dreams, so this has helped me stop feeling bothered by my dreams and groggy)

Anything that has to do with music helps me a lot. It could be playing an instrument, listening to music or writing songs. It really helps me with my anxiety and it’s sorta like a little play land for me I guess
