In order to feel great when you're feeling an unwanted emotion like stress, you have to feel it before it goes away. If you're anxious, it's okay. You have the right to feel that way because it is a normal human experience. It has to come off to come out. You can get to the light if you walk through the dark. The universe is both dark and light so we must embody that contrast and truly love all parts of ourselves, because that's the transition from duality to oneness. -Your Own Magic podcast

I like to write down 5 positive things in my life, and then I like to remind myself that I am confident, wonderful and I can do anything if I put my mind to it. It really helps with my self esteem.

Mindfulness is partly about recognizing how you are feeling, physically and emotionally, first. We can’t reframe how we think or feel without acknowledging first what it is that we are thinking or feeling.

I woke up sad. But I listened to a mindfulness meditation where I learned to label my thoughts as thoughts and not necessarily truth. This perspective shift is helping me immediately. I made it my goal today to continue to label my thoughts as simply thoughts so I can look at them objectively.
