Remember this: it is OKAY to not be ready to face a certain emotion. NEVER pressure yourself to overcome a negative feeling when you are not ready. It will make you feel worse. Work at your own pace. This is so important.

I feel so anxious at the moment so I have decided shortly I will shower, put on fresh pjs, put fresh bed sheets on, mop my bedroom floor and read Harry Potter in bed with a cup of tea and light a candle. I am hoping these things will help.

I'm always trying to find a better way to stay mindful. Sometimes I repeat to my self "I'm in the present, I'm safe here and now". Then I try to focus only in what is happening in the moment, the things I can see, touch, smell, the colours around me... Everything that brings me to the present.

I have this beautiful view of a mountainous hillside in my back yard. I realize I've take it for granted. This evening before dusk I saw the clouds curling on its highest ridge, saw some birds fly by, potted some plants & took a deep breath of air. Finally realized I was in the moment. It does take practice... 🙆🏻

I used to be stressed out by all the tasks i had to complete, as soon as one ended i jumped to the following task. But my brother told me it's okay to take the time to enjoy the victory of a completed task and reflect on the succes. It's not easy but i try to do this as much as possible, it brings my mind to peace.

“When you show yourself to the world and display your talents, you naturally stir all kinds of resentment, envy, and other manifestations of insecurity... you cannot spend your life worrying about the petty feelings of others” ― Robert Greene, The 48 Laws of Power

Focus on doing the task at hand like it is a form of craftsmanship. Even doing the dishes can feel like a Zen moment if you take it under the here and now mindset.

I open my heart mind and spirit to love. I will not not avoid my emotions I will not withdraw. I will dig deep and use only the best parts of me to react. Love

Our emotional state definitely does reflect something deeper going on inside. I appreciate times of solitude in order to understand what is really going on.

It seems silly but I write off my thoughts and/or write it out circular thoughts on a piece of paper and VOID the paper like an inactive check...then I shred the paper. It works for me.

My derealzation and depression giving me anxiety. My depression seems to get worse everyday as much as I force the positive. I'm going through anhedonia. My depression consists of either feeling numb or sad. I haven't experienced true happiness in weeks. My little positive thoughts here and there are the only think keeping me sane. I'll be okay one day and so will all of you. Stay positive
