Instead of thinking negatively like "I can't do this, I'm scared", I turn them into positive thoughts like "I am scared but I can and will get through this".

I just tried walking meditation. It was quite difficult as I think we're all quite used to not being mindful of our walking when we go about our usual business, but at the same time I found that it will probably be really helpful and hopefully help me deal with anxiety at work a bit better by just being mindful of my body and how I walk etcetera. This was only my first time but I will try my best to continue my practice of mindfulness and meditation.

Took a mindfulness class and learned some good tools: one is checking our expectations (if we think something is going to be bad it often will be) and asking if our actions are in line with our values. Little cliche things, but they help.

Staying off Facebook for the majority of the day. Use less social media bc it makes my social anxiety worst. Maybe calling a friend instead

Only when I'm near nature or looking at the stars I find peace. It reminds me how life is so much bigger than our everyday struggles. And that is wonderfully made as we are. And above all, it's good. Life is good.
