Don't fight your thoughts, accept them for what they are, JUST THOUGHTS. They don't define you or control you.

Honestly ask yourself, "will this matter in 10 years?" if not, don't worry too much. It's probably not as important as you're making it.

not every single thought is important, and not every single thought needs my time, energy, and focus. i barely have enough as it is, i can't spend it on nonsense like that!

I meditate in the evening. The family is asleep. It's my alone time. I read the bible and recovery books. Sit quietly. Breathe and listen to Zen music. Works for me

I read books that give me a escape from the terrible things happening around me. They give me a sense of security and safety in a way. They sometimes show that I'm not the only one that feels the emotions that I do. They show me that I'm not always alone.

Ask yourself...am I present? Take in your surroundings....enjoy the moment. This is the only time you'll have this moment

I tell myself that I am beautiful each day and think about one thing that I love about myself. This helps me embrace my differences and be okay with who I am.

Grief is a wise teacher. In it, you learn how to really love yourself and other people, and to stop worrying about little things. Compared with love, everything else is a little thing.

I went for walking close to the river. I felt the wind on my face and my arms, i listened to the birds singing, i looked at the gentle waves, i felt my foot on the ground, i smelled the parfume of the flowers on the trees and i smiled to the world. I smiled because I have the chance to be alive so i can feel that.

I just realized that when I'm running in my neighborhood at a nice, steady pace, I'm also being mindful. I'm being present to my surroundings, controlling my breath, and not really focused on anything, just letting thoughts come and go.

My therapist suggested that I meditated 5 minutes everyday focusing on being present. I'm doing it, and it truly helps.

Be like a tree..do not falter during unfavorable situation..when the storm comes a tree swings vehemently but it never gets uprooted..if it do so..it dies.. remember that..do not stop during bad times.. eventually the storm will end and there will be a bright sunny day..till then hold your ground with all your might..

I think about things I am grateful for and how I can improve my life, not restrict myself.

I've been trying to remind myself to relax. I usually hate it when people tell me to "relax" but maybe that's because it's what I needed to hear.
