When you are becoming anxious or overthinking imagine your thoughts as a waterfall that you are standing underneath. You are just watching all these thoughts fall down in front of you. Try not to attach to them and just let them fall in front of you.

I step outside a couple times a day when I'm at work and just notice and enjoy the sun and fresh air. It keeps me grounded when I'm inside all day.

If I get desperate, I tell myself "I can give up tomorrow, but I'll get through today" but then tell yourself that everyday. Give yourself the day and face the next when it comes

I'm finding that wearing a pedometer and trying to reach 10,000 or more steps a day is helping me be more mindful. Checking my step count and thinking of how i can be more active, get my step count up helped during first week back at work.

I constantly talk to my dog as if he's a person. But this is how I relax. Whenever I'm crying and he hears he comes and gives me hugs/snuggles and kisses. I don't know what I would do without my dog, he's a good man.

Don't trust your emotions all the time.. sometimes it is better to listen what ur head tells u because it always knows what is right and never fluctuate like our emotions..listen to ur heart which tells u to just get and do it..do everything in your power to change ur life because u have the only authority and power to steer ur life in whatever direction u want it to go..so choose wisely..

Scanning my senses. Start with your Body and feel it, the contact with the chair or the floor. Then focus on what you hear, smell, taste and see in this very moment. I sometimes do this only a few moments but you can take as long as you wish. Doing this frequently helps me become more mindful and clear throughout the day.

- This App - Breathing consciously into my stomach - Recognizing symptoms of anxiety as "false alarms" - Recognizing when fears are just anxiety - Praying nightly / giving thanks - Feet up on the wall for 5 min before bed - Listening to Jon Kabot Zinn before bed - Long walks - Vitamin B12, Magnesium and sleeping 8 hours - When feeling anxious about the "future" asking myself "yes but is this how you feel now?" Brings me back to present moment.
