Positive affirmations sound super cheesy but are extremely helpful when it comes to combatting both anxiety and negative self-talk. Some of my favourites as of late are: "I am safe", "I am valid", "my size does not define me", "I am enough", "I am here", and "I am okay".

The most important thing in your life is you are alive. No matter how bad things are in your life. Try holding your breath for 2 minutes. Your body says, to hell with all your problems, I want to live.
