My dogs remind me to be mindful, in the moment. Dogs don't have the capacity to worry about their past. They don't worry about about tomorrow or their death. They only are able to think in the moment. I wish I was a dog. They have simple brains.

I stay mindful by accepting life for what it is. I try to change things when I can and when I need to, but now I try my best to accept people for who they are and not expect any change.

I read philosophical books; I just plunge into their depths and see a world different than that we are living in, a world more complex and intricate, more beautiful. That way I don't lose focus and am honed into the words on the pages.

Sticks and stones may break bones, however they will take weeks to heal, however the Words on other hand, those could take years to heal. Please think before you speak, or you might regret the words coming out your mouth.
