Remember a thought is just a thought, we dwell and stress too much when we over think. Try to let the thoughts pass without the need to judge or comment on them. Be mindful and let things pass and see how your mind becomes a positive thought base

I made myself an axiety-reducing bracelet. Basicly just wood beads on a thread. The idea is to wear it all the time and when i feel stressed and like things might get out of hand i take a moment and breathe deeply. A breath for each bead. That's about a minute's worth of not getting too caught up in my mind. I've only had it for a day but it's already helped me relax and calm down a few times. Hope i'll stick to it and breathe mindfully and be more calm...

I try to remind myself that it is ok to not be ok all the time. I find that the reason for a lot of my anxiety is that I think that I shouldn't be feeling the way I do. It is important to keep in mind that there is no such thing as "wrong" feelings!

I've started a journal for 2017 which I do some art and make some lists or just write about how I'm feeling and it helps SO MUCH! I highly recommend journaling to anyone who wants to be more mindful or anyone that just wants to try it!

I mentally tell myself to "STOP" and follow the acronym I read about that applies: Slow into the moment, Take a breath, Observe what's happening before I Proceed. ("5 Mental Tricks to Help You Manage Stress and Be More 'Mindful' in 2017" by Michelle Maltais

I tell myself I am more than my anxiety. I am more than my depression. I am more than my loneliness. I say this to myself everyday.

Journaling is the best! I can pinpoint what is triggering the emotion and can be present with my feelings! What a gift?!?!

I've been struggling everyday for the past year with intense anxiety and depersonalization/derealization. I never know how or when it's gonna go away fully but I've noticed every day I feel a little better and more like myself. It has been affecting my happiness a lot lately and it's such a terrible feeling but I won't let it win me. My anxiety won't win. I won't let it again. I'm going to be better and I'm going to be better than I ever was.

Celebrate even the small tasks completed, not beating myself up about what if difficult to me might be easy and everyday for others.

I medidate in the garden for 10 minutes every morning. I just love the way the wind feels on my skin while I do it. Highlight of each morning!

Be aware of yourself. Every once in a while, acknowledge how wonderful you are. Treat yourself with something nice. You deserve it. Especially if you are dealing with things like anxiety. Stay strong and love yourself. That's all you can do.
