My new year's resolution is to intentionally do one act of self-care every day - even if it is a very small one. I want to work on being healthier and taking care of myself as well as work on my self-love, so this was my decision. I think it will be small enough that it's not overwhelming, but will still be big enough to be impactful in my life.

I love body scanning! Checking in with each body part - seems there are places on my body I often forget about.

The best thing that helps me during a panic attach is to hold a frozen lemon or lime. Focus only on the piece of fruit. Fell the coldness and the texture. Smell the citrus look at the color. It grounds me

I try to do an act of service for someone else at least once a day. It really helps me love them more and love myself.

I'm going to be okay tomorrow. I will show no traces of tears or sadness. I will be nice to all of those mean people. I will not let their teasing tear at my confidence. I will be confident. I am going to be okay. Everything will be okay.

People get so messed up about what life is. People say that they just cant do 'it'. Listen to me. Life is Living. Simple as that. It is breathing in and out . When you can't do anything else. Breathe. You can do that right? ♥

I try to just focus on the present. Really, that's all Mindfulness is. I find that if I start either ruminating on the past or worrying about the future, my anxiety increases. So I just focus on my breathing to get centred again and try to concentrate on the present only.

While I stretch every night (check blogilates stretching video) I take time for myself, reflecting over the goods and bads of the day and staying positive. I also like writing my thoughts out in a journal. Along with that journal, I have the Happiness Planner from Anthro which helps me stay motivated.

Write a diary or journal everyday to remind yourself of what you are grateful for and what makes you smile. Stear us away from focusing on the negatives in our days

Yesterday I picked up my guitar and wrote a song. I didn't even know I could write songs but it just came to me. Today I've been singing it all day and it takes my mind off the things that hurts 🎸
