I bought a really small pocket diary and every night before I go to sleep I write one thing that was good about the day, it doesn't matter how small a thing as long as I write something. Then if I'm down I read through all the good things that have happened this year, and it reminds me that even on my worst days at least one thing happened that was good :)

I don't care where I am or what it looks like to people, but if I'm feeling a wave of anxiety or feel an attack coming on I just shut my eyes, focus on my breathing, and I keep reminding myself that this is a moment. It's fleeting and life is moving. Everything passes - even if it doesn't feel like it. Sometimes if I just forget where I am it resets my soul.

I have a particular time of evening where I make a cup of black tea with milk. Once I get to that stage of the evening, I already know I've made it through the whole day, and now I might as well keep living. It's a weird act that keeps me mindful of my surroundings and gives me something to look forward to. It's like I'm thanking myself for being so brave, and the milky tea is my reward.

Meditate focusing on my out breath, and label any thoughts "thinking" and let them float away like clouds

It sounds kind of weird, but checking the weather every day for my plants and moving them inside or outside keeps me kind of grounded. It makes me think first thing in the morning. Is it gonna rain? Time to take all the succulents in and leave the others out. Too hot? Better bring the basil inside. Kinda cloudy? Perfect for my purple heart.

in the morning before I get out of bed, I like to sit on the edge of the bed with both of my feet planted on the floor and stretch my entire body so I feel the way it works.

It's important to free myself here and there, to give my thoughts to breathe, to process, and to complete. However, whether this state of mind continues depends on my ability to adapt well with difficult people and situations. I don't have time for not doing things right anymore as it affects me too much through out the day. So however difficult life becomes from this point on, my job to take care of myself, is to do it right, and figure it out. Because I can figure it out.

I have a keychain of a polished rock that says "Gratitude" on it. Seeing it always makes me reflect on what I have, no what I don't.

When I go on my daily walk, I always try to do a body scan, to focus on how the different muscles are feeling, and to become more aware of how my body is moving.

Painting, music, movies, and drawing help me get past my anxiety and they help me still be productive with my depression.

I go into a private room and lie down to do mindfulness meditation. It's so relaxing and peaceful that I can hardly wait to do it the next day. Each time I learn something new. It's great
