Trying to be as empathetic as possible, and trying to understand people's behaviors towards me from a different perspective. However, I am still working on this. Jumping to conclusions is too easy.

Everyone does not hate you. Sure, not everyone likes you either, but remember that you have people in your life that for a fact love you

I've been meditating for 20 minutes everyday (except one where I forgot) for around a month now and the past two sessions I think I've been making some kind of breakthrough. I've been having these moments where I feel 100% calm and at ease, I forget all about my surroundings and it feels amazing! I really recommend giving a try. I also have experimented abit and I find the best time to do it is first thing in the morning so it sets you up for the day, really hope this helps!

Heard two good tips on destressing today. 1. Ruthlessly eliminate hurry. 2. Downsize your expections. It shared how everyone is contstantly in a hurry, driving fast, thinking fast, multi-tasking, but it helps to recenter. Drive the right lane on the freeway so you can be more comfortable and aware, is that 30 seconds faster to your destination worth it? And then they said with downsizing your expections, to really step back and look at it all. Do you put too much pressure on yourself or others?

I try to put mindfulness into little everyday tasks now like washing pots and ironing and it helps to switch my brain off for abit from all the plans and worries and what ifs and focus complete on what I'm doing, the colours, smells, textures etc

I just started using this app because my anxiety and stress are making me feel extremely trapped inside myself. How do you stay mindful of yourself and your emotions? I've tried and can't really grasp the concept...

Remembering to S.T.O.P ever so often during the busy day - to Stop what I'm doing, Take a few deep breaths, Observe what's around me using my five senses, and Proceed with something that will support me through the rest of the day. (:

Mindful living is an art. You do not have to be a monk or live in a monastery to practice mindfulness. You can practice anytime.
