The world is more beautiful than I thought. I say in the car on the way home from a family members the other day and stared at the sky. It wasn't a particularly spectacular night, it was rather overcast, but it was oddly beautiful. I got lost staring at it and passed about an hour just looking. It's weird how all that just... Exists.

When I'm walking alone I listen to music and take in EVERYTHING. Not just that there are flowers there, but every colour I can pick out, in the petals, the leaves, the grass, the trees, the sky, the sea, the grey paved streets.Take in the fact that the sky is merely a gateway to the universe that birthed us.That their are purple and red galaxys, in starstreaked skies, all moving and creating beauty right now.That there are oceans full of life that we can't imagine, an abyss of beauty.take it in.

I've learned to let go of the things I cannot change. Some days when I'm having a hard time letting go, I sit at the beach and watch the waves crash onto the shore. Everytime the tide goes in I remind myself to breathe and let go. When a new wave appears breathe and accept the change

At the end of the day all we have is ourselves. So we might as well treat them with love and respect and patience. We should even spoil them sometimes. We deserve it. We've been through a lot. But I tell you this. We'll get better. After all this we'll be 10 times stronger. We have already survived 100% of our bad days. So don't give up just yet.❤️

I went outside today and really looked at my surroundings for the first time in a long while. I saw a baby robin, wild raspberry canes that bore white flowers that were just beginning to bud into green immature berries, a red tailed hawk being chased across the sky by little birds, chipmunks and squirrels rummaging around in the dry leaves. it made me realize all the life that was surrounding me when I had thought I was alone.
