Chocolate meditation. Take a single piece of chocolate and put it in your mouth. Let it melt. Slowly. Focus only the chocolate. Try and find as many flavours as you can. Trust me there are so many you would never believe. It's fun, relaxing and it opens up your mind to all the beautiful things you never notice in our busy lives.

If I ever feel really down, I just think about where I'll be in 20 years... Sitting on the couch with my husband and kid wrapped in a cozy blanket watching the latest Disney movie. And I will finally be able to say "screw you, depression. You lost!" And that makes me feel so secure :)

I stay mindful by noticing the simple things like, the warmth of the sun beating on my skin. The crisp, fresh, air that I breathe in. The ground below my feet. Even just the feeling of my heart beat.It lets me know that I AM alive and that I can survive.

Set your utensil down in between each bite, enjoy the food, chew it slowly, appreciate the flavor. Doing this helps one acknowledge when they are full to avoid overeating

Will it probably even matter 5 years from now? Probably not. . . So keep living that life. Keep striving. Never give up.

Just riding the wave out... Acknowledging how I feel, allowing myself to feel that way, and knowing that it'll pass. Its hard to stop yourself from feeling a type of way, but its comforting to know you can feel it until it passes.

I almost died last year ( I had 4 surgeries 2 of them were liver transplants; I was diagnosed with a liver problem when I was 14 ) I get depressed but I remember how lucky I am to be alive and how close I was to losing so much.

I had a hectic day, so I exercised mindfulness by buying and coloring in an adult coloring book. I noticed my mind wandered, but I accepted it and didn't even judge it. I felt serene.

Live the moment. Just remember you have to enjoy whatever surrounds you as you can never know when is your last time to do that.

Trying to have an optimistic view on life no matter how stressful it gets sometimes. There might not always be people who will be there to help you but doesn't mean you can't be there for someone else

I always meditate! It makes me forget what I'm going through and relax. I use an app called "Stop, Breathe and Think". You should try it.
