Realizing that it's ok to have bad days and just because you have bad days doesn't mean you're failing at life. Cut yourself a little slack and give yourself some credit for the things you have accomplished no matter how small.

I find one of the best things I can do to stay mindful is when I am walking I'm just walking. No music, not listening to podcasts, not thinking or planning, just me and my steps. I walk enough that this becomes quite a powerful way of saying mindful. Concentrate on your steps and usher any thoughts or stories out of your head before they take hold.

Listen to an uplifting song and really really listen to it. Write down some lyrics and really appreciate the song.

I have health anxiety disorder, so I find it tough to stay mindful when I feel anxious 24/7 due to recognising every bodily symptom I have on a daily basis and worrying it's something severe, but since seek my therapist she told me to take a week and just spend everyday believing that whatever symptom I feel is definitely anxiety. She said what can you lose? So I've been trying it, even if deep down I, questioning it, I say it's anxiety no matter what, and it's helping me come to terms with it.

Look at the people around me and think 'We're all here for a reason". I think that the people I meet I've met for a reason. It must be a good reqson to have so many amazing people in my life. I stay mindful by looking at them and thinking 'thankyou for being mere for me through tjick and thin'. It makes me realise that I'm going to be okay and that Im not alone.

I set goals for myself that I know i can meet. By achieving these daily goals I've found that I feel empowered and happy. It's important not to lie to yourself, so if you say you're going to do something follow through.

I try to be grateful for the things that I have in life. You are blessed if you have clothes on your back, a dry and warm shelter, and food to eat because some don't and live with allot less. I remind myself of this everyday.

I like to write poetry when I'm feeling sad or angry or stressed. Even if it doesn't sound right it makes me feel better. Also doodling, drawing or painting is fun
