Something that helps me when I get bad anxiety or a panic attack is the Countdown Senses. 1. Identify 5 things you can see. 2. Identity 4 things you can touch. 3. identify 3 things you can hear. 4. Identify 2 things you can smell. 5. Identify 1 thing you can taste. This helps you to stay grounded and distract you from thinking.

When I'm feeling anxious or mad about something I always remember that 80% of your life is how you react to it.I think about what made me feel anxious or mad and try to change the way I reacted to the situation to a positive way.

When I'm put into a stressful situation and start to lose my cool, I simply ask myself this question. "What do I know?" By answering that question and finding the simplicity of the situation, I in turn begin to calm down.

It feels silly when you start doing it, but I try to focus ONLY on what I am doing. If I wash a dish, I think things like "wow this water feels nice" and "this soap makes the plate feel slick" and "I love the way the plate looks" and try to focus just on that task. That way I can't worry about anything g at least during those moments.

This Pacifica app is good for meditation. And sometimes it can help if you have so much to say but you do not feel comfortable doing so in public. You talk to strangers and you hope someone is listening. A lot of people.

I find that if I don't think about the day or certain situations and take the day as it comes, I'm able to focus more on what's around me and the people and just appreciate more and enjoy the world a bit more.
