Try eating a Hershey kiss quickly and as fast as you can, the eat another one slowly and let it melt in your mouth. That is why mindfulness is so important

If I'm feeling particularly negative at the end of the day, I go through ten positive things that happened that day. They can be tiny things or big things it doesn't matter as long as it is a positive veiw on a situation

I take a break from the Internet and focus on my inner life by writing, listening to music, or taking a walk on the beach

When I know that I will be facing an anxiety filled day tomorrow I like to tell my self "in 24 hours this day will be over and I'll be back in my cozy bed before I know it." For some reason it relieves some of my anxiety.

Set a reasonable goal every morning, that you can complete by the end of the day. Even something small like 'keep clean' will be a massive achievement and will keep you proud and positive

Each night, just before bed, I write down my thoughts and feelings in a journal. It's always fun for me to go back and read past entries - it allows me to see that I always overcome hardships and have grown stronger as a result.

I do meditation to a soundscape of the ocean to remind me of the tropical places my soul felt the most peace. I place myself there in my mind and let my worries go. Then I go at my day doing the best I can because that's all I can really do.
