Sit in bed every morning for 5 minutes and just think "I am". Don't finish the sentence, just be present

Compliment yourself. Even if you're lying at first, trust me you will mean it after awhile.

When I wake up, I try & smile for 30 seconds even though I don't feel like smiling at all. It boosts my positivity so I don't feel so awful about getting up.

it is important to remember that someone wakes up every morning to see your face, even if you don't feel that way sometimes.

Some people really need to understand that age doesn't always equal maturity. "Act your age" uh no. "Don't act at all and be yourself"

I see the sky and it reminds me of life, bright, happy, giving, and I realize I'm here to be the same.

Every morning I open my eyes and thank God for waking me up. Any day spent above ground is a good day

We all have a little bit of "I want to save the world" in us. Just know that it's okay if you only save one person, and it's okay if that one person is you.

I usually stop for a moment and think. Why do I have to wear this mask? If they have a problem with me, too bad. I'm never changing the way I am for someone else.

I have a book beside my bed, that I have filled with bright drawings and positive quotes. Every night I make an effort to think about my day and write 3 things that have made me happy or that I feel I have done well. I go to bed feeling more relaxed and happier this way and would recommend it to everyone

Art really helps me stay mindful. Sitting and colouring in an adult colouring book really helps me calm down and refocus on the present moment!!! Definitely recommend

I stand in front of the mirror and thank God for making each and every part of me and I call each part beautiful. I eventually start to believe it. I may be a bit on the heavier side, but I love my curves! And I may have frizzy hair but it's a pretty curly auburn. Little things like that help.

To feel grounded I have a routine I can do anywhere in public without being noticed and it helps with my PTSD flashbacks. 1. Clench your toes 5 times right foot 2. Tap thumb and first together 10 times left hand 3. Blink 15 times 4. Rub your eyes as if you've just woken up 5. Stretch your arms as if you've just woken up. 6. Breathe, and remember, you are in the present. Not the past.

I have difficulty taking tests cause even if I study very hard my mind gets full of unneeded junk. Like "Oh the air conditioners are making a weird sound." Or " Have I locked my locker properly, oh sh*t my phone is in there" So I to breathe 3 times before a question on the test, and then read it to my self 2 times, so my mind gets to work on the question not on other useless things.

The second you wake up tell yourself 'I'm going to have a good day', you'll be surprised by how much positive energy you receive when you start your day on a good note
