I try to remember we are all people and we are all doing the best we can do. I tell myself to forgive myself, forgive others, and do things out of love.

The bible always says "it came to pass". This means that everything is in passing; sadness, joy, and everything in between. During the sad times I remember that nothing I feel is permanent and will change with time.

I know that it hard to stay in a positive mood. However , I want everyone to wake up in the morning and say "today is going to be a good day" , even if you don't belive it. The more you say it everyday the more you will see the good in the day. Instead of counting the bad at night, sit and count the good. "I made a stranger smile" "I laughed super hard at the joke " " Today was a good day" . I want everyone to understand that no day is a bad day. You lived and that alone is amazing.

For the indecisive: The best advice I've ever received was if you can't choose than you don't want it enough. I use this during small everyday decisions that can stir up anxiety like choosing whether or not to hangout with a friend, go to that event, or buy this or that. I've been using this for five years and find it better to say no now, then wait it out to give myself thinking time instead of making a decision while flustered.

I always try to be mindful that someone somewhere is going through something way worse than me.

I tried to use mindful drinking techniques when having a cup of tea in my break. I forgot that it would be really too hot to hold in your mouth for 30 seconds though and burnt my tongue. It made me laugh because I tried so hard :')

My boyfriend used to be suicidal and he still struggles with depression. He has taught me many tips for how to deal with my anxiety and negative feelings. Two that I use in my everyday life are as follows: 1.) Do your best to see the bigger picture. Don't sweat the small stuff. 2.) Live in the moment. Leave the past where it belongs- behind you. Don't worry about the future today, it will take care of itself. Live in the present, and be thankful for every moment that you get to experience.

When things get tough and I find myself feeling like I can't go on, I just keep telling myself: "Just push through this." "You just need to push through and keep going."

I have been working really hard to change my outlook on a lot and it seems it finally paid off. I'm not bouncing up and down happy but I am genuinely content with where I am and where my life is going. Nothing changed except for my mindset ☺️

started zen meditation a few weeks ago. every night before going to bed, I sit and relax and concentrate on my breathing. it's really rewarding to see that by now I can sit still for 15mins without the horrible urge to jump up and something :)

Everyday I meditate just 10 minutes. It's short enough to not feel impossible, but long enough to feel the benefits. It has changed my relationship with my thoughts and mind :)

I try to physically take a step back from something I am doing to take it in and slow myself down. I think we go crashing through life so much that we just take so much for granted or as background noise

Being in nature, most places outdoors, helps me regain focus and become more mindful.

Believe it or not the sky, the sky has so many beautiful colours (especially at sun set) it makes me go out and be just as bright and beautiful as those colours 🙂☄

Write every day in your mother language. Don't need to be a diary or with any specific former. at the end of one day just write down ur thoughts /feelings / realisation / lesson... Reading back makes u feel grown up and at least u know u experienced sth that changed u. It feels solid
