Today I tried being mindful instead of frustrated when my baby girl was fighting sleep at bedtime. I focused on her scent, the softness of her skin, the cute way she curls her lips... It didn't make her sleep any faster, but I felt more relaxed and connected to her.

I stay mindful by repeating the words "Be easy, be slow and be at peace" and this tends to calm me down and go back to a state where I can think clearly

Most of my stress comes from overanalyzing past hurt or being worried about the future. To stay mindful I try to focus my full attention on the present moment and find something in it to occupy my thoughts. I look for things to be grateful for right now.

I've started doing a mantra. "I will be ruled by love, not by fear." And I approach anything in feeling with questions of first whether it's true and then how I could look at it differently. That helps a little.

I pray and i try to talk to myself, am not in a rush, one simple step at a time, nothing is going to happen and everything will be okay, all that with constant breathing

I try not to care anymore, I mean caring intensely and too much ! I'm letting myself try and hope for the best. Things I read for school make me realize how everything is futile. Gotta keep that in mind now !
