I bring my attention back to my body. The abstractions and demands of work and life make it easy to forget that we are not just cranial. Mindfulness is about situating yourself back into your body. Directing you attention towards the sensations of touch and feeling. Allowing you mind to still.

I always try to check in with myself periodically like am i taking normal or shallow breaths am i nervous am i thirsty or hungry and this app helps a lottttt

This app and the "Conscious" app! I am also in my second round of DBT group therapy, and working through The Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills Workbook (I recommend!... this is the professionally recommended treatment if you struggle with Borderline.) I also see a wonderful therapist who always reminds me to be mindful, breathe and meditate... (and to do yoga... this is one of my goals!) Good luck you guys!!
