i'm officially 10 months clean from cutting today. that doesn't even feel real. i'm so happy to be alive right now, i've been teaching myself to sort of romanticize everything i do, like when i paint, or when i play guitar, or when i dance down the stairs. school ends in 2 weeks. i think i'm doing better. 10 months. wow.

Im greatful for my anxiety. I know it sounds weird, but ive learnt so much from it, and i can understand people and help people out who has been in a similar situation! It may put me through torture, but i keep fighting! Fight my fears and emotions and carry on! ❤️💪🏻

I can't believe it but I've actually felt happy for a while now! My relationship has improved, the weather has been nice, the flowers are out everywhere, the days are getting longer and I have a trip I'm looking forward to! It's years since I felt like this, I'm so grateful things are turning around!

I dare each of you to write yourself a note as if you were being a friend to yourself. Dear Lyssa, I am so proud of you. You are so caring and thoughtful and considerate. You just want to be the best you can which is great. Don't beat yourself up for mistakes they are meant to make you stronger not to feel worse. I loveeee you. You got this. Now go get some stuff done to keep growing and living and have fun with your friends tonight
